The two weeks after the wedding are the ones you have been earning all year. A cotton canvas tote in a polka dot, a star chevron or a vertical stripe, lined tone on tone, snapped shut at the top, with rope handles. Add your name or monogram, and take it somewhere with a pool and no plans.

The canvas is 70% cotton and 30% polyester, water-resistant, durable and easy to clean. The handles sit comfortably on the shoulder, the snap means it actually closes, and the polyester lining matches the print tone for tone. In navy, aqua, gray, coral or mint, depending on the print.

  • Purchased as part of a birthday/beach fun-themed gift for my six-year-old niece. Overall, the item is lovely, and the quality of the bag is decent. However, rather than her name, I asked for her monogram to be embroidered. Whilst the quality of the monogram is very good, its placement and subsequent spacing of each letter is not. The monogram is off-center on the bag, and enough room exists between each letter of the monogram for it to look awkward. Overall, the product is acceptable for its purpose as a beach bag for a child, but disappointing nonetheless.
