Brushed on both sides until it feels like the flannel shirt everyone in the house tries to steal. A plush plaid scarf long enough to wrap twice or hang loose, in buffalo plaid, tartan, or a black-and-white houndstooth. Add a name or a monogram in the lower corner, where it shows when it is wrapped and where you look for it on a crowded coat rack.

Buffalo plaid comes in red and black, gray and white, or white and black; tartan in red, white, blue, taupe, camel, charcoal, gray, black, navy or khaki; and there is a black-and-white houndstooth. The embroidery sits at the corner, lower left by default.

  • Two of the three scarves are absolutely perfect. However, the houndstooth material is extremely thin and fraying on all sides, as if it was either unfinished or poorly finished. The other two scarves are very soft, well-made, and feature flawless personalization, as always. I will keep the houndstooth scarf for myself since these were intended as gifts. I would feel embarrassed to give that one to someone.
