Waxed canvas wears in where it gets handled: the flap, the corners, the place the strap rubs. A crossbody messenger with full-grain leather trim, a foam-padded compartment for the laptop, a separate one for the tablet, a pocket at the back for what you would rather keep behind you, and a passthrough that slides over a suitcase handle. Add initials to the flap.
